Toms River is a diverse community located at the crossroads of Ocean County.  It is home to some of the finest beaches at the Jersey Shore.   It has one of the top rated school systems in the state.  There are seveal different sections of Toms River, each with it''s own unique character.  The East Dover section has many waterfront homes located on lagoons and bayfront.  The Green Island section is similar to East Dover with its array of lagoon homes and bayfront homes as well.  The Silverton section located between East Dover and Green Island has both a neighborhood feel and lagoon and waterfront homes.  To the west is North Dover, Oakridge and Pleasant Plains sections of Toms River.  These are very unique neighborhoods situated on the edge of the Pine Barrens.  Lastly, is the Village of Toms River located on the Toms River surrounding the seat of Ocean County government.
